Peyton and Torin's Wedding Morning In Oceanside, California.

I get a message from a friend asking if I am available to photograph her sister’s wedding. Only catch is, IT’S IN A MONTH! I know what this may seem crazy but I am almost MORE willing to step In to these situations because I know so much intention is going in to this day and they need people to say Yes. So, I was happy to!

I met with Peyton and Torin a few days later at Captain’s Grounds in Oceanside and we sat outside and got to chat more about them and their love story and why they decided to make their wedding so soon. They mostly didn’t want to have a big wedding, they had been together for so long they were just ready to get married. I GET THAT! But the more I heard about what the family members and the vision, it became clear that this was going to be something special.

I had the “crazy” idea to maybe do an “engagement” shoot the morning of the wedding. And they HAPPILY agreed! Basically, my thought was just the two of them, with their surfboard, bathing suits, and having a sweet stress free morning. A funny note I wanted to add is that they were pretty nervous because they had never done a photoshoot before. BUT LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!! Wedding photos coming up next!!!

They were really nervous to lay on his board and didn’t want it to bend, but they laid down quick and kissed and hopped right up!!! A perfect pic in my opinion!

I just told them to run and play in the water and they took that very seriously :)
