What is Runia? | run·i·a | /ro͞onēa/
Runia is the name of a little girl from rural Mozambique, that I (Jordan) sponsored for several years. I had the opportunity to meet her on two occasions. Jillian and I had just started dating before my second trip to visit Runia and her family. Jillian decided that she wanted to make something for Runia and ended up making 2 identical necklaces from shells she collected. One for Runia and one for me. I got to present this gift to her and show her the identical one that I was wearing.
When we were trying to figure out a name for our business, we remembered this story. And how the life of Runia had impacted both of our lives. Runia Visuals was born. We want to tell your story in a creative and captivating way just like that little girl from Mozambique captivated us.

After touring in a rock band with my brothers for 10+ years, I moved out to California from Maryland to marry the love of my life. I continue playing & writing music for our church in Escondido, CA as well as serve as the on-staff videographer. My passion for video and photo stems from my first several trips overseas where I felt that trips are rarely documented accurately. Every opportunity I get, I set out to capture and create meaningful stories that inspire. One of my dreams is to visit every country in the world.

I grew up in SoCal my entire life and could not imagine living anywhere else. I convinced this pirate man to move here to marry me and now he is mine forever. I found my love for photography subtly throughout my life, but it really ignited when I met Jordan and his tenacity to thrive as a creative. I find so much joy in taking photos, I can say that my heart feels like it could fly away. I am also passionate about content creation for online businesses. I am a cartoon enthusiast, you can look at my Netflix account, and I also enjoy aspects of fitness and finding new and creative ways to be healthy.
